| Tools:
The tools used are cutting tools with a 25 x 25 mm shank. Carbide
cutting tools can be used either soldered or with throw away tips
we can recommend well-tried tools.
Operation:
The machine is set down on the base frame for storage and transportation.
The infinitely adjustable carrying hook enables the machine always
to be suspended above the center of gravity even with various clamping
elements. The guide brackets can be unscrewed for transportation.
The machine is lifted using lifting tackle
or a 350 kg capacity crane and inserted into the pipe together with
the clamping equipment. The wide guide brackets 01-57 permit easy
turning of the machine in its direction. This represents a practical
aid to the insertion procedure. The guide brackets also have a limiting
effect that affords the operator greater protection. All the control
elements have been arranged to be clear and handy in accordancewith
industrial psychology considerations. The switches for the main
drive and the feed drive are located above the central shaft, easily
visible from above, and the emergency off switches are located right
and left of them. Underneath the switch panel on the left is the
handwheel for radial feed, and on the right the handwheel for axial
feed. Allocated to the handwheels are the controls 03-74 and 03-73
for mechanical feeds with two direction settings and one manual
feed setting. The handwheels have scales in 0.1 mm graduation. The
change gears for feed selection are easily accessible behind the
detachable handwheel covers.
