Simply mold Plumber's HOT DAM! around the section of pipe where you want heat to stop. Since it's non-toxic, you can handle it without any special precautions.

The clay-like consistency of Plumber's HOT DAM! conforms to any shape for precise application while eliminating the drips and mess of squeeze tube products. And it's far more reliable than tube products or the traditional "wet rag" method, allowing you to work with pipe freezing for extended lengths of time without melting the ice plug.

You can even solder connections that lead into existing walls without worrying about heat buildups and potential hazards. When you're done, simply remove it and put it back in the handy 3/4 Lb. container to be used over and over again.
