STERLING BI-FLEX HAND HACKSAW BLADES

The BI-FLEXTm hand hack is the ideal combination of high, red heat hardness on the cutting edge, joined to a tough, alloy steel back with great strength and stretch resistance. This combination, made possible by electron beam welding, gives performance never before attainable in any hand hacksaw blade. Its bi-metal design creates a shatter resistant blade with the ability to cut faster and longer because it stays sharper. The best blade possible for cutting all materials, including stainless steel, hardened alloys or anything that can be cut.

Manufactured in standard tooth forms and varied pitch.

VARIED PITCH

The original blades with varied pitch design were patented and introduced by Diamond in 1937 in hand hacksaw blades. Over the years, improvements and variations have kept this blade on top in cutting ease and efficiency. No other blade cuts with "Generating Cutting Action" which contributes to long life and increased cut-ability.

The Broach Tooth VARIED PITCH blade should be used whenever versatility is required because it is "Two Blades in One", cuts faster and easier and does a superior job on ferrous and nonferrous material, including the toughest machinable steels and alloys.

CARBIDE GRIT HACKSAW and RODSAW

Tungsten Carbide grit blades allow enhanced cutting capabilities in hard or abrasive materials such as hardened steel, hydraulic
hose, ceramic tile and

cable.

STERLING HAND HACKSAW FRAMES

Die cast construction for strength and rigidity and pistol grip handle are featured on the ADJUSTABLE frame. Blade can be inserted sideways and vertically for versatility. Frame furnished with VARIED PITCH blade.

The HEAVY DUTY frame is a rigid, heavy duty die cast frame with handy knob for tensioning blade.

Chamber for extra blade storage. Blade holding method eliminates twist and wobble.

Blade can be inserted in a flat position for sideways cutting if desired. Accepts 12" blades only and comes furnished with a 12" x 24/20 VARIED PITCH BI-METAL shatterproof blade.

#10021 HIGH TENSION Hacksaw Frame for 12" bimetal hacksaw blades allows tensioning of bi-metal hacksaw blades up to 28,000 PSI by turning tension knob 4 complete turns. Blade can be mounted straight or at 45° angle for flush cutting. Extra blade storage inside hollow tube. Will accommodate hacksaw or recip blades to use as jab saw.

The Sterling MINI-HACK handle will accommodate wood or metal cutting 1/2" shank reciprocating blades as well as hand hacksaw blades. It is recommended when the job can't be done using other frames or handles. Each MINI-HACK handle is supplied with a 4" metal cutting reciprocating blade and a 12" bi-metal.
