The
TRUMPF Seam Locker F 125-0 closes simple standing seams and angular
standig seams on pre-fabricated sheetmetol assembly parts such as
heating and air conditioning ducts or car body components, ( see
Figure 2 ). The F 125-0 presses the joined open standing seams together
and seals them by hammering.
High working speed, ( approximately 5 meters / minute ), and handy
construction make the F 125-0 particularly suited for assembly applications.
The free standing tool allows work to be performed even into corners.
In addition the F 125-0 has a spring-loaded hammer to avoid tool
damage when working various sheet thicknesses and uneven materials.
The distance between hammer and anvil can be easily adjusted. This
distance can be as wide as 8 mm allowing sealing strips to be inserted.
• joins mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and nonferrous
metals
• fast and clean closing of prebent standing seams and angular
standing seams handy, light-weight machine
• free standing tool closes seams even into corners
• spring-loaded hammer for working a variety of sheetmetal
thicknesses
• precision adjustment of working between hammer and anvil
overload protection
• change of hammer and anvil without the need for tools •
also available as pneumatic version for application in dangerous
areas

| The
Pittsburgh lock seam is the ideal seam connection for straight or
curved sheetmetal parts with with pre-formed edges, ( see Figure
1 ), Pittsburgh lock seams provide smooth, aesthetic, and strong
connections of superior stability without additional fastening elements.
The TRUMPF Seam Locker F 140-0 closes the open Pittsburgh seam in
an automatic silent rolling operation. The free-standing flanged
edge is closed over the other prebent mating part, without damaging
the surfaces.
This fast and safe machine locks straight and curved seams with
a minimum radius of 300 mm. Time-consuming and noisy hammering operations
are eliminated. Roller and clamping devices together with the automatic
feed control of the machine guarantee consistent accuracy of seam,
independent of guidance, and high quality of locked seams. As the
TRUMPF Seam locker F 140-0 is a portable power tool, it has in many
cases the edge over seldom used and therefore expensive stationary
machines.
A special bonus is its on-site assembly capability. Ducts or bulky
parts can be transported on piles and es practical single components.
• fast, tight closing of Pittsburgh lock seams
• handy, light-weight machine the continous roller principle
enables vibration-free locking without hammering
• quiet in operation
• no tools needed for set up for various sheet thicknesses
automatic feed without additional force required consistent, high
seam quality for straight and curved applications
• economical seam locking on assembly site electronic speed

| The
TRUMPF Spot fastening machine is used for distortion-free, corrosion
resistant joining of raw or crooted sheetmetal and is suitable for
mild steel, stainless steel and nonferrous materials.
The TF 350-0 uses a novel forming process which simultaneously punches
and forms the joint. The oartiolly cut top sheet projects into the
bottom sheet which grips the projection, ( see picture ). There
is no damage to protective coatings by this purely mechanical process.
This superior, forming and tight fastening technology offers economic
and practical advantages. Preparation and finishing operations are
eliminated as are the costs for fasteners such as screws and rivets.
Cleanly and economically, the TF 350-0 provides long lasting, tight
connections. The tool is quiet, requires little energy and is totally
free of polluting waste byproducts.
This lightweight, reliable machine is designed to go right to the
assembly site, thereby eliminating the need to move heavy, bulky
workpieces. An innovative TRUMPF product, low maintenance and simple
and safe operation complete the list of advantages.
• handy machine for portable and stationary applications fast,
efficient pressure joining guarantees consistent joint quality
• long lasting connection of same or different materials
• form locked, corrosion resistant deep-drawing process, (
cold forming )
• no set-up or finishing work required
• aesthetic, strong connection
• economical and excellent portability
• minimal joint costs without additional costs for fasteners
such as rivets or screws practical manoeuvrability, ( working also
in upside-down position )
• long tool life
• swivel arms and fixed arms can be changed
• without any problems
• no need to set punch and die environmentally safe, clean
operation
