Solid alloy aluminum construction. It is the most ruggedly constructed machine in the industry.
Slide and gibbs are heat treated aluminum that is Teflon coated to insure long life. Slide assembly is positioned together by gauge block machining. This assembly is located by dowelled gibbs that are precisely aligned with the V-block. There are no elongated holes which could allow misalignment. Spindle bore is a #3 Morse Taper. Electrical Panel meets the highest standard of operating safety. A Circuit Breaker assures no safety hazard to the operator or machine. Arbor support design for use with "Slugger" cutters, or drill chuck for use with hole saws or drills.

Chain clamp is standard on all units and clamps to pipe diameters 1-1/4" through 12"." Optional speed toggle clamp, clamps 1-1/4" through 6" pipe. Cuts up to 4-1/2" diameter holes in up to 12" diameter pipe.
*Both clamps ensure positive holding during hole cutting operations and can by used in any position.

Oil feed: The arbor is designed with an oil reservoir for automatic gravity feed during the cutting operation in the vertical position.
Easy part replacement: Building block design allows easy part repair or replacement, ( no need to ship machine out for repair ).

Heavy Duty @ 42 Lbs. using an Industrial Drill Motor with 4-speed internal gear box that operates @ 110, 175, 245 or 385 RPM and 110V, 10A draw, ( 220V is available ).

HOW IT WORKS

Attach The MINI HOLE THING to pipe with wrench chain. With alignment bars properly aligned to pipe, tighten wrench chain with adjustment nut, first by hand, then securely tighten, using drill traverse rod. With The MINI HOLE THING properly mounted, insert drill travel plate (with electric drill and cutting tool affixed) into guide slots until rack-and-pinion gear has been engaged. Activate drill electrically using drill traverse rod, move drill and cutting tool forward until cutting tool touches work piece. Back off drill and cutting tool to observe cutting pattern. If cutting pattern is correct (cutting equally on both sides of center), advance drill and cutting tool until tool has passed through work piece. If cutting pattern is incorrect, realign the The MINI HOLE THING to the pipe or the electric drill to the travel plate. Back off drill and cutting tool , turn drill off electrically and remove The MINI HOLE THING from the pipe.
